  • Knowledge Varsity will always use the best faculty: Faculty appointment at Knowledge Varsity is done though a rigorous selection process. Each subject has an exclusive academic council, which comprises of highly seasoned individuals drawn from both industry and academics. All of our faculty have requisite knowledge of concepts and application experience. In addition our faculty have a feel for learners needs and are able to empathize motivational and assurance needs of learners.

  • Knowledge Varsity will always facilitate team learning: Once a basic input about a particular concept is provided to the learners, our faculty will encourage learners to look outside and search for more sources. A dedicated team supporting the faculty member will help develop learning collaborations amongst students. Faculty will take the learner groups through a series of meticulously designed steps to sift through information and arrive at meaningful conclusions.

  • Knowledge Varsity will always contextualize learning: Our faculty will always emphasize on contextualizing the content. This means learners will master the concepts in a situation that is close to them. This way learning happens in a simple yet applied way.

Faculty

Professor Mohan Kuruvilla: He is one of the leading sales and marketing teacher as well as trainer in the country. Prof. Kuruvilla teaches in all most all of the leading B-Schools in India including the premier institutions such as IIMs and XLRI. Prof. Kuruvilla brings with him a life time experience in sales and marketing. His method of teaching is unique and is much appreciated by the students. He explains the most complicated concepts in a simple and applied fashion. Besides sharing his own experience, Prof. Kuruvilla brings a number of examples to the classroom to drive home the idea behind each sales & marketing concept. He encourages students to clarify all their doubts then and there. In his class there are no wrong questions. All questions are right questions.

Mr. Ratan Gupta, FRM: Mr. Gupta has passed all three levels of CFA. Mr. Gupta is a BTech in Computer Science from IIT Kharagpur and has extensive Financial Services consulting experience. He has been engaged in teaching CFA aspirants for the past one year.

Prof. Mohan Bangaruswamy: Mr. Mohan Bangaruswamy received M.B.A. in Marketing and has more than 25 years of experience in the areas of Strategy, Marketing, Human Resources and IT Services. He has worked with organizations such as DCM and Wipro. His last corporate assignment was that of “Vice President: Organization Development & IT Services” at Apara Enterprise Solutions (P) Ltd. He envisioned, designed and implemented a number of processes to move Apara into the services business.
He has been trained by Saville and Holdsworth in the area of building competency models. He assists organizations to design and deploy competency-based frameworks to further organizational effectiveness.

Mr. Venkatesh Bangaruswamy, CFA, FRM: Mr. Venkatesh Bangaruswamy is an Equity and Derivatives Trader and Investment Strategist. He has over 13 years experience in the financial markets. He applies technical analysis on asset-valuation models to construct trading strategies. He has served in various positions in the industry- as Head of Research at an Indian brokerage firm and as the Financial Markets Editor for The Hindu Business Line. He later went to Canada on a one-year sabbatical, where he trained investment advisors in the field of portfolio management.
He is also actively involved in training and academics. He has conducted training programs in asset valuation, equity research and portfolio management for analysts, portfolio managers and traders at various institutions including Morgan Stanley and Kotak Securities.
He is currently a Member of the Board of Studies for MBA (Capital Markets) at the NMIMS University, Mumbai. He has co-authored research papers that were presented at the Asia-Pacific Risk and Insurance Association. His research interests include Behavioral Finance, Portfolio management and Derivatives.

Mr. Krishna Kumar: He is Vice President of Knowledge Management at Reliance ADA Group. He has over twenty years of marketing experience including fifteen years in CRM & database marketing. He is currently Head of SAS Database Marketing & Analytical Center of Excellence at Reliance ADAG. He has expertise in Database Marketing & Campaign Management Practices and in the arena of managing customer touch points across email, call center, SMS, IVR, mail, events, internet and mass media. He is well versed in Customer Relationship Management practices – both operational and analytical CRM.
He has Proficiency in Basel II Analytics for Credit and Operation Risk and authored a paper titled “CRM2Reaping Rewards while Managing Risks”. His work experience includes FMCG, Retail, hotels, banking, insurance, airlines, couriers, automobile, banking, IT & office automation. He worked at Reliance, Covansys, Ogilvy One worldwide and at Wunderman Cato Johnson in areas of database marketing.
